Attendance
Arriving Late
If your child is arriving late, a parent/guardian needs to come into the school building to sign-in your child. Students are considered late after 9:00 a.m.
Leaving Early
If your child will be picked up early due to an appointment or scheduled activity, a written note must be sent to school for his/her teacher and the front office. If a child needs to be picked up early, please pick him/her up by 3:00 p.m. We will not release students between 3-3:30 p.m. due to the teacher end-of-day routine and bus dismissal. Please bring your driver's license so we may verify you are on the pickup list.
If your child has a doctor's appointment, please ask the doctor for a written excuse. Have your child give the written excuse to his/her teacher the next day at school.

Policy for Going Home a Different Way
If your child is changing his/her normal transportation routine (parent pick-up instead of taking the bus, going home on a different bus, or walking home with a friend) a written note must be sent to school for his/her teacher and the front office. Phone calls will no longer be received unless it is an emergency. We will work with families when an emergency situation arises.
All bus riders will go home on their assigned bus unless we are notified with a written note.
This policy will reduce confusion, and it will increase our ability to safely get children where they need to be.
